Health Guarantee

At Cavapoo Cottage, the health and well-being of our puppies is our highest priority. We are committed to raising happy, healthy Cavapoo puppies and providing transparency and peace of mind to every adoptive family.

1. Veterinary Examination

All Cavapoo Cottage puppies are:

  • Examined by a licensed veterinarian before adoption

  • Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Dewormed on a regular schedule

  • Free from signs of contagious or life-threatening illness at the time of placement

A copy of the veterinary health record will be provided to the new owner.

2. Initial Health Period (72 Hours)

The buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

  • If the veterinarian finds a serious, life-threatening congenital or contagious condition, the buyer must notify Cavapoo Cottage immediately.

  • Written veterinary documentation is required.

If confirmed, Cavapoo Cottage will offer a replacement puppy (when available) or a refund of the purchase price (excluding transportation and veterinary fees).

3. Genetic Health Guarantee (12 Months)

Cavapoo Cottage guarantees the puppy against hereditary or genetic conditions that severely affect quality of life for a period of 12 months from the date of birth.

Covered conditions include serious congenital defects verified by a licensed veterinarian.

  • The diagnosis must be confirmed in writing by a licensed veterinarian.

  • Cavapoo Cottage reserves the right to request a second veterinary opinion.

If confirmed, Cavapoo Cottage will provide a replacement puppy of equal value or a partial/full refund, at our discretion.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

This guarantee is valid only if the buyer agrees to:

  • Provide proper nutrition, housing, exercise, and veterinary care

  • Maintain routine vaccinations and parasite prevention

  • Not overbreed, abuse, or neglect the puppy

  • Avoid resale or transfer to pet shops, brokers, or research facilities

This guarantee becomes void if the puppy is mistreated or neglected.

5. Non-Covered Conditions

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Minor or cosmetic conditions

  • Illness or injury caused by accidents, stress, parasites, or environmental factors

  • Conditions resulting from improper care, diet, or vaccination schedules

  • Normal breed traits or non-life-threatening conditions

6. Agreement

By adopting a puppy from Cavapoo Cottage, the buyer acknowledges understanding and acceptance of this Health Guarantee.
